We're also grateful for Mark and Penny (aka "the wife") providing an extended doggie spa and resort for Brandy during the periods of over 100 degree days this summer. Penny has joked about joint custody, and offering me supervised visitation priveleges, but Brandy knows when the weather cools off, her master will be gearing up for fall festivities, and she loves the excitement of the hunt. This is the dog that made three blind retrieves hunting ducks on a 60 acre lake when she was only 10 months old; snatched a wounded pheasant from mid air; and chased off mountain lions while guarding deer camp.
